Dear Editor,
Why did WCC not report on search warrants served on SCIF as indicated in the Sacramento Bee on 6-21-09 ? Do they have that much power, that you are afraid to report on the $600 million they gifted to vendors?
I also find it odd that rising comp costs are primarily due to cost containment measures(55% increase), which is insurance jargon for denying/delaying payments to doctors for reasonable care, while medication costs have only increased 5%. The WC cost increases are a direct result of insurers trying to take all profit away from doctors. CA will be left with the culls to care for patients. This is the truth, yet the insurance companies are allowed so much time in your articles to act as if they are the victims.
Thanks
