Inadequate public search tool (California)

EAMS has provided a website ( through which anyone can look up the status of a case and discover whether or not it is on calendar. If a hearing is scheduled, the website will disclose the date thereof. Unfortunately, no other information is given, so you then have to travel to a WCAB office and ask a clerk to look up the case and tell you 1) what kind of hearing is scheduled (MSC, Status Conference, Trial, etc.), 2) at what time the hearing is scheduled, 3) at which WCAB district office the hearing will be held, and 4) to which WCJ the matter is assigned.

Can't the program be tweaked to include the necessary information?
