LANDMARK MEDICAL MANAGMENT RAIDED 10/8/2013 (California) (Ca

The filing and enforcement of liens (different states refer to these with different terms) to secure payment for services or goods against a workers' compensation award is complex and filled with special rules - this category is for questions and discussion of this special area of work comp law.

ICs/TPAs still have an obligation to pay, adjust or litigate until some court bars the topical compound medical providers Landmark represents from collecting. That has not happened yet to the best of my research and knowledge.

The office was flooded with over 70 officers and the OC District Attorneys Office. Employees were held for over 2 hours and questioned and interrograted individually. The questions were regarding the companies billing practices and the National Drug Codes used on the bills.

Officers endered just after 9am with a search warrant for the premisis. Kareem Ahmed was not present durring the raid. The computer servers and back up servers were seized.

There is also word that Dr. Capen and Dr. Anguizola's office were raided last week , looks like we may get rid of these compound medications after all!!!

I don't think this is the end of the compound drugs. Perhaps the formulary once comes out would help. But this is just one pharmacy. There are others who are still doing this. They will probably shift their money to another scam now...
