Postby vince670 on Wed Jun 08, 2016 6:11 pm

I have a AME reports from the Psychiatrist medical report and the physician medical report with the following percentages:
Psychiatrist 70% industrial related and 30% personal related
Physician 75% industrial related and 25% personal related
What this mean and what can I expect?
Thanks

That means that whatever amount of disability assigned by the psychiatrist - a WPI, must be put in a rating formula, depending on your age and occupation and once there is an adjusted permanent disability rating, then only 70% was found to be related to your job. So keeping it simple, if your final adjusted permanent disability rating is 10%, you would only get a final rating of 7% (.1 x .07) for psyche.

Same thing on the second physician only if the final PD rating is 10%, you would only get a final rating of 8%, because the final answer of .75 x .1 is .075 and we round up.
