Does a PTP get paid for Depo's (California)

Postby paduanow@yahoo.com on Mon Apr 20, 2009 3:26 pm

This psych doctor was requested to go to a depo by the DA. I believe the doctor should get paid, but the doctor is the ptp and they are questioning the report of the ptp. I not sure why that might make a difference.

If the ptp gets paid, is it by Labor code, some cpt code or arrange fee with the DA?

Thanks again.

I often scheduled depos for ptps. Of course he gets paid unless something has changed that i am unaware of.
