Payment of C&R (California)

Is there a penalty if the C&R is paid after the 30 days?? If so is it 10% or ??

How late after the 30 days? There is case law that says for a few days, no.

Interest and penalty arguably are due - depends on the definition of the insured - municipality or private?

Usually 10% unless it gets unreasonable, like if you tell them it's late and they still don't get it to you. Then it can become 25%.

Interest too. As LA said the interest rate is different depending on if it is a government agency or not.
