How much time must a subpoena be served on lay witness to attend ( no records just witness ) work comp trial?

It is recommended to do it 20 days in advance, absent good cause, so the witness has 15 days notice to attend.

Don't forget to include the $35 witness fee and $.20 per mile from their residence to the courthouse roundtrip, or the Subpoena will be technically deficient.
