WOW, so many "lookie-loos" and no replies or posts!

It isn't that scary! Just log in like usual-it won't "byte" ya!

We are all "pro's" in some form or capacity--but welcome to the "other side..."

HI Rose and thanks for joining!

There really was nothing "wrong" with the old system, but the old system lacked many features that this one has. For example, small things like adding your own avatar instead of a system supplied one (User Control Panel -> Profile -> Manage (or Edit if you have one already) Avatar), to big things like having all states on one board but indicated with the drop down/title generator.

In addition, the old system did not, and could not, integrate with the main site due to different technologies.

This new forum is the start of a major design change philosophy we are directing at WCC so that all of the properties integrate seamlessly (e.g. no separate log ins, etc) for some exciting things we have been planning for a long time and we hope to be launching over the course of the next year and a half.

Some changes will be subtle, some will be major.

Hello all -- I'm still trying to figure out how to use the new forum. I just read all the FAQs but this one isn't on there --

Does anyone know how we get subscribed to all the posts like we did before? It was handy to get them all, then I could see at a glance if it was a topic I was interested in or could respond to -- like someone's request about doctors in a certain area. I didn't realize that I wasn't getting all posts until I logged in to explore.

Thanks, Laura

I found the new site, too. Steve walked me through how to post a picture so I'll do that soon. (Hint to David D: picture-posting instructions might be useful to everyone).

Laura - at the bottom of every Forum page (e.g. we're in Professionals - Legal) is a link in small font "Subscribe to this Forum".

Click on that and you will be subscribed.

The downside is that you must do this for every Forum (e.g. Legal, General, WCC Tech, etc.). The upside is that if you don't want to be subscribed to a particular Forum then you are not defaulted to it.

Everyone - at the upper right is "FAQ". Click on that and there are instructions for most every action a Forum user can do.

Otherwise, please either post questions in WCC Tech, or e-mail/PM me and I will answer, and likely post in Tech as well so others can view/learn.
